UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for a Part Time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Dubuque, IA.

Responsibilities

  12-hour shifts with 12 hours of in-house call. A dedicated onsite NNP sleep room is provided, with a 30-minute response time requirement

  Level 2 NICU with 4 beds

  n

• n

  Average NICU census of 3-4/month and newborn nursery census of 4-8/day

  n
n
• n

  Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

  n
n
• n

  Specialty skills: Circumcisions, intubations, surfactant administration UVC/UAC line placement/management, chest tube placement and management; CPAP mangagment

  n
n
• n

  Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care

  n
n
• n

  Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment

  n

• n

  Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  Board Certified

  n
n
• n

  Experienced NNPs preferred

  n

• n

  Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa

  n

• n

  Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice

• n

  Eligible to work in the United States
