Location: Golisano Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, NY
Job Type: Full Time
Work Hours: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM with rotation 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM; Shift 3
Responsibilities
- Diagnose illness and physical conditions and perform therapeutic and corrective measures within a specialty of practice.
- Collaborate with licensed physicians under a written practice agreement and protocols.
Education & Credentials
- Completion of a master’s, post‑master’s or doctorate NP program accredited by CCNE or ACEN.
- Current active RN and NP licenses in NYS.
- National NP certification.
Experience & Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
- Preferably 2 years in a specialty area (e.g., NICU, Nursery) as RN or NP.
- Internal hire required upon transfer into a new position.
- External hire required at the time of application.
- Current BLS and NRP certifications required.
- DEA registration or eligibility required.
- Agreement from an appropriate physician to enter into a collaborative agreement required.
Working Conditions
- Onsite work arrangement.
- Weight requirement: Medium (up to 50 lbs).
- FTE: 0.96.
- On Call Required: No.
- With Rotation: Yes.
- Shift 3.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $68.21 – $84.57 per hour.
- Wage determined by experience, qualifications, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreement.
- Union Code: U26.
