• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts per week; days, nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $5,040 - $5,400
• EMR: EPIC
• Patient Population: Neonates and infants from birth to 1 year of age
• Coverage: Full-time availability preferred

Job Requirements

• 2-3 years of neonatal experience in Level III/IV NICU settings
• Current California NP license
• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner board certification (NNP-BC) required
• DEA with California address and Schedule II/II-N authority required
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• Must be willing to complete CMS Medicare and Medicaid enrollment during credentialing
• Ability to provide required onboarding documents within the requested timeframe
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and comfort working in a high-acuity neonatal environment

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced care for newborns and infants in a Level IV NICU
• Collaborate with physicians, APP colleagues, and the broader care team to support safe, high-quality patient care
• Assess, manage, and monitor neonatal patients with complex medical needs
• Support care for infants with surgical, cardiac, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, and other critical conditions
• Contribute to patient flow, productivity expectations, and day-to-day clinical operations
• Document care accurately and efficiently in EPIC
• Maintain a patient-centered approach while working in a fast-moving hospital environment
