Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - NICU RN - Travel Nurse

Overview
We are seeking Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurses for an immediate travel nurse opening in Moreno Valley, CA. The ideal RN should have 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to sick and premature infants.
- Assist in round‑the‑clock infant care and support to parents, offering emotional encouragement and guidance on home care.
- Care for infants transitioning to extra uterine life.
- Monitor vital signs and initiate corrective action when necessary.
- Provide nutritional assessment and specialized feedings.
- Change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs.
- Provide arterial and intravenous therapy.
- Monitor and adjust specialized equipment such as incubators and ventilators.
Qualifications & Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification.
- 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop, and lift 10-20 pounds.
- Knowledge of hazards from chemicals and infectious diseases.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
