Need USC/GC Only :: Salesforce IT Project Manager

Location: Cranston, Rhode Island (3 days onsite & 2 days remote)

Duration: Contract

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Lead the entire project lifecycle for Salesforce implementation and enhancements, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and success metrics.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure project alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams, including developers, administrators, and business analysts, often using Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating to senior management when necessary to keep projects on track.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, providing regular status reports and presentations to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Quality Assurance & Training: Oversee QA (quality assurance) and UAT (user acceptance testing) activities and help facilitate end‑user training and support to drive platform adoption.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including detailed project plans, technical design documents, and user reference guides.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in project management within the IT industry.
  • Proven experience in managing Salesforce implementation projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall.
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform and its capabilities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira and Microsoft Project).
  • Familiarity with data migration, integrations, and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning, organization, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification.
