Nebraska Licensed Dosimetrist

To support a growing radiation oncology team, the full-time Nebraska Licensed Dosimetrist will design and implement treatment plans, ensuring accuracy and safety in radiation therapy while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assemble data to contour normal and dose-limiting structures using various imaging modalities Design treatment plans with optimal beam geometry to deliver prescribed radiation doses while sparing critical structures Communicate treatment plans to the Radiation Oncologist and Radiation Therapist for implementation Required qualifications Must be board eligible for the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) exam and obtain certification within one year of hire Completion of a formal medical dosimetry program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) is preferred Three years of medical dosimetry experience is preferred Experience with Varian Eclipse and ARIA is preferred State criminal background check and Federal checks as required for regulated areas
