This is a remote position. NCCER Ironworker Instructor Location: 100% Remote Schedule: Monday – Friday Hours: Up to 15 hours per week Compensation: $50.00/hour Employment Type: 1099 Independent Contractor

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced NCCER Ironworker Instructor to provide remote instruction and support for individuals pursuing ironworking training and NCCER credentials. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity for someone with strong hands-on ironworking experience who enjoys teaching and helping others develop their skills.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver remote instruction based on NCCER Ironworking curriculum and standards.
• Teach fundamental and advanced ironworking concepts, including structural steel, reinforcing steel, rigging, tools, equipment, and job site safety.
• Explain hands-on ironworking practices in a clear and practical manner.
• Prepare students for NCCER assessments and credentialing requirements.
• Track student participation, progress, and completion of assigned coursework.
• Answer questions and provide additional coaching or guidance when needed.
• Maintain accurate training and instructional documentation.
• Follow established NCCER curriculum requirements and training standards.

Qualifications:

• Current or previous NCCER Instructor Certification strongly preferred.
• Professional experience as an Ironworker, Ironworker Foreman, Superintendent, Trainer, or similar skilled-trades position.
• Strong knowledge of structural ironworking, rigging, safety procedures, tools, and equipment.
• Previous training, mentoring, or instructional experience preferred.
• Comfortable delivering training in a 100% remote environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical information in an easy-to-understand way.
• Reliable availability during the Monday–Friday workweek.

Position Details: This is a part-time, 1099 independent contractor opportunity offering up to 15 hours per week at $50.00 per hour. The position is fully remote and is ideal for an experienced ironworking professional looking to use their industry knowledge in a flexible instructional capacity.
