Your journey starts now—protect and innovate with MANTECH! ***This is for a future opportunity***MANTECH seeks a motivated and career-focused Naval Systems Engineer to join our team onsite in Washington, D.C.In this role, you will support high-visibility Navy programs by delivering expert technical analysis and innovative solutions that enhance mission success and operational excellence.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Plan, design, and implement systems infrastructure, including hardware and software componentsAnalyze, modify, test, and maintain systems to meet performance, security, and compliance standardsVerify and validate systems to ensure alignment with internal and external requirementsProvide expert diagnosis and solutions for system issues in existing and new environmentsConduct engineering evaluations to support on-time, on-budget project completionCoordinate with cross-functional engineering teams to develop and execute project plansReview policies, procedures, and performance reports to maintain regulatory and operational standardsDevelop schedules, budgets, specifications, and resource plans for engineering projectsSelect materials, tools, staff, and vendors to support system development and deploymentLead or contribute to high-visibility Navy programs through specialized technical and business expertiseMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering4+ years of relevant experiencePreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting or working directly with the U.S. Navy, either as active duty, a government civilian, or a support contractorFamiliarity with U.S.
Navy technical authority, such as NAVSEA 05Experience working with U.S. Navy Program Managers in an analyst capacityClearance Requirements:Must hold an active Top-Secret clearance.Physical Requirements:The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and/or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.The projected compensation range for this position is $85,000.00-$141,600.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
