Special Education Aide
NPA seeks an excellent special education aide that is patient and understanding, always striving to meet the individual needs of each student. They have strong communication skills, able to work effectively with teachers, parents, and other professionals. Additionally, they are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the lead teacher in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEP) for students
- Providing one-on-one assistance to students with special needs
- Assisting the SPED department with associated tasks
- Helping students with daily tasks
- Creating a safe and inclusive classroom environment for students
- Collaborating with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure the student's needs are met
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree or college credit hour equivalent
- Valid IVP fingerprint card
