National Security Associate AttorneyLocation: Washington, DCDirect Counsel is seeking a National Security Associate to join the nationally recognized National Security Practice Group of a premier global law firm in Washington, DC. This is a unique opportunity for an associate with experience in national security, international trade, and sanctions matters to work alongside former senior government officials and leading practitioners on sophisticated regulatory, compliance, investigatory, and enforcement matters.The practice advises clients navigating increasingly complex national security regulations and enforcement risks across multiple government agencies and industries. Attorneys in this group work on cutting-edge matters involving economic sanctions, export controls, cross-border compliance, government investigations, and national security-related transactions.ResponsibilitiesAdvise clients on a broad range of national security and international trade mattersCounsel clients on compliance with: U.S.
