Director of ProcurementEXCITING OPPORTUNITY: National Procurement ManagerLOCATION: Brooklyn, New York (Hybrid, 2–3 days/week onsite)CORY is hiring a National Procurement Manager for a well-established multifamily property management company with a growing Northeast portfolio. This is a brand-new, highly visible role with the mandate to build a procurement function from the ground up — including the systems, standards, and eventually the team behind it.ABOUT OUR CLIENT: Our client is a privately held multifamily property management company actively investing in its corporate infrastructure. This newly created role sits at the center of that effort, working directly with the CFO and senior leadership to bring structure and cost discipline to vendor sourcing across the entire portfolio.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A LEADER:Streamline and standardize vendor sourcing and bidding processes across the portfolioOversee onsite vendor relationships and ensure consistent systems usage across communitiesPartner with the CFO and executive leadership to identify opportunities to streamline or newly implement procurement processesWork cross-functionally with all departments to align procurement practices with operational needsManage the insurance program across the portfolioOversee CapEx and warranty trackingDevelop and document SOPs, and lead training on new processes and platformsEvaluate and recommend new platforms and technology to support procurement operationsBuild out the structure and, over time, the team supporting the procurement functionTHE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU POSSESS:A true procurement or supply chain background — candidates from banking or financial services will not be a fit for this roleExperience in multifamily, construction, development, or other project-based industries strongly preferredA builder's mindset: comfort creating structure, systems, and process where none currently existStrong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work across departments and with executive leadershipExperience with AppFolio a plusFamiliarity with insurance program management, CapEx tracking, and vendor/contract administrationPERKS & BENEFITS YOU'LL RECEIVE:Base salary of $140,000, plus bonus (open, commensurate with experience)100% employer-paid health coverage23 paid holidays plus PTOA brand-new, highly visible position with direct executive access and the mandate to buildHOW TO APPLY & BE SELECTED: Send your resume to , and our team will reach out with next steps if selected.
