Teaching Assistant - (10 Month)

Requirements:

• Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification
• Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
• Bilingual preferred

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• Demonstrate knowledge of various assessment tools, including running records and other instructional assessment practices.
• Implement instructional resources and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher to support student learning, growth, and progress across content areas.
• Effectively work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs.
• Exhibit a commitment to continuous professional growth and active participation in a collaborative professional learning community.
• Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, and families in support of student success.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the school and its students.

Hours: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Effective: September 1, 2026
