Teaching Assistant - (10 Month)

Requirements:
- Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification
- Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements
- Bilingual preferred
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Demonstrate knowledge of various assessment tools, including running records and other instructional assessment practices.
- Implement instructional resources and activities under the direction of the classroom teacher to support student learning, growth, and progress across content areas.
- Effectively work with students from diverse backgrounds and with varying developmental, academic, and social-emotional needs.
- Exhibit a commitment to continuous professional growth and active participation in a collaborative professional learning community.
- Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills to work effectively with faculty, staff, administrators, and families in support of student success.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that promotes student achievement and well-being.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned based on the needs of the school and its students.
