REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have NYS Teaching Assistant certification
• Must meet NYSED Fingerprinting requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

• Knowledge of various assessment tools (running records, etc)
• Experience in implementing instructional resources and activities provided by a classroom teacher in order to meet students' needs and encourage student growth and progress across content areas
• Ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds who have diverse developmental and academic skills and needs
• Desire to grow as a part of a professional community in order to support instructional practice, student learning, and students' overall growth and achievement
• Possess exemplary interpersonal skills and tools for collaboration with all school faculty, staff, administrators, and families in service to students
• Other responsibilities, as assigned, based on the needs of the school and its student
