Project Manager (Production)MVAR Media is a leading Democratic consulting firm specializing in creating compelling TV and digital advertisements for Democratic candidates and progressive organizations across the country.Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join our fast-paced team. This role is essential to our production operations, working closely with partners, editors, producers, and our finance and billing department to ensure seamless project execution from concept to delivery. The ideal candidate thrives in a deadline-driven environment and is passionate about supporting Democratic campaigns and progressive causes.Key ResponsibilitiesProduction Coordination & SchedulingCoordinate and schedule all aspects of production workflow using Monday.com softwareManage production timelines to meet critical campaign deadlines and air datesSchedule and coordinate resources including editors, producers, and voice oversTrack project progress and proactively address potential scheduling conflictsVendor ManagementServe as primary liaison with outside vendors including production houses and talent agenciesCoordinate vendor scheduling, deliverables, and project requirementsMaintain vendor relationships and evaluate performanceFinancial CoordinationCollect and process invoices from external vendors in a timely mannerWork closely with the finance and billing department to ensure accurate project billingAssist with client billing processes and documentationCross-Departmental CollaborationWork directly with firm partners, producers and editors to understand project priorities and requirementsCoordinate with editors and producers to optimize workflow and resource allocationRequired QualificationsExperience & BackgroundAt least 2-4 years of project management, production coordination, or political campaign experienceExperience in advertising, media production, or campaign environments preferredUnderstanding of TV and digital advertising production processes is a plusFamiliarity with political campaigns or advocacy work is a plusTechnical SkillsProficiency with project management softwareExperience with production scheduling and workflow managementExperience with Quickbooks or other accounting software is a plusCore CompetenciesExceptional organizational skills with ability to manage multiple urgent projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills for vendor and internal coordinationDetail-oriented approach to financial tracking and billing processesAbility to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environmentProblem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-changing political landscapeWhat We OfferOpportunity to make a direct impact on Democratic campaigns and progressive causesCollaborative environment working alongside experienced professionalsCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits packageProfessional development in the rapidly evolving media landscapeMVAR Media is an equal opportunity employer committed to building a diverse team that reflects the communities we serve.
