Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Northwell Health, in conjunction with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell, is seeking a board-certified Musculoskeletal Radiologist to join their team. This role offers the flexibility of working across various locations within the health system, including remote work options. The successful candidate will contribute to a large and active musculoskeletal division, providing comprehensive imaging and procedural services.

Practice Info

• The musculoskeletal division consists of 16 fellowship-trained musculoskeletal radiologists.
• The division provides musculoskeletal and procedural services at multiple tertiary and community hospitals and ten outpatient imaging facilities.
• The division is active in the training of 70 radiology residents from three residency programs and 2 musculoskeletal imaging fellows.
• The MSK division interprets greater than 50,000 MRI examinations yearly along with 18,000 CT exams, 3,000 diagnostic ultrasound exams and 3,000 image guided procedures.
• Remote work is available 1-2 days per week.
• Weekend call is taken remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound and procedures.
• Interpret musculoskeletal MR and CT imaging.
• Interpret radiographs.

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.

Requirements

• M.D. degree with American Board of Radiology Certification.
• Dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.
• Academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell is available based on the candidate's academic experience.
