Musculoskeletal Radiologist

Northwell Health is actively seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Musculoskeletal Radiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology across various facilities in New York. This role offers diverse practice settings, including hybrid and fully remote options, catering to different preferences. The successful candidate will contribute to a large and dynamic Musculoskeletal Imaging Division, providing comprehensive diagnostic and procedural services.

Practice Info

• The Division of Musculoskeletal Imaging provides coverage throughout the Health System in New York.
• Remote work is available 1-2 days per week, and weekend calls are taken remotely.
• The Musculoskeletal Division consists of 16 fellowship trained musculoskeletal radiologists.
• The division provides musculoskeletal and procedural services at multiple tertiary and community hospitals and 10 outpatient imaging facilities.
• The MSK division interprets greater than 50,000 MRI examinations yearly along with 18,000 CT exams, 3,000 diagnostic ultrasound exams, and 3,000 image guided procedures.
• The division is active in the training of 70 radiology residents from 3 residency programs and 2 musculoskeletal imaging fellows.

Responsibilities

• Perform musculoskeletal ultrasound and procedures (for in-person and hybrid positions).
• Interpret musculoskeletal MR and CT imaging.
• Interpret radiograph imaging.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree.
• American Board of Radiology Certification (BC/BE).
• Dedicated fellowship training in musculoskeletal imaging.
• Academic appointment with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is available based on the candidate's academic experience.
