Role Description

The Multi-Unit Manager (Area Experience Leader) is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Mobile, AL, responsible for overseeing multiple H&R Block offices within a designated area. This role focuses on driving operational excellence, client experience, and business growth through effective leadership and coaching of office leaders and tax professionals. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include monitoring performance metrics, analyzing business trends, and implementing strategies to improve client satisfaction, revenue, and efficiency. The Multi‑Unit Manager collaborates with local teams to ensure consistent service delivery, compliance with company standards, and alignment with seasonal staffing and training needs. This role also partners with regional leadership to execute initiatives, support change management, and foster a positive, inclusive work environment across all locations.

• Experience managing multi‑unit retail, service, or financial locations, ideally in a highly seasonal or client‑focused environment.
• Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, performance management, and talent development.
• Ability to work on‑site in Mobile, AL, with regular travel between offices in the assigned area.
• Working knowledge of basic financial and operational metrics; tax industry or financial services experience is a plus but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, management, or related field preferred.
