SONIC Multi-Unit Leader Job Description

As a SONIC Multi-Unit Leader, you will be managing the operations of all General Managers and employees within multiple SONIC drive-ins. You will also be responsible for training and supporting the drive-ins’ employees to ensure we provide quality food in a clean, safe, and efficient manner so that our guests have an enjoyable experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing, training, and coaching General Managers and conducting management orientation.
- Directing and assigning employees to meet operational standards.
- Overseeing multiple drive-in employees and management in performing all duties across various stations to ensure quality standards are met.
- Monitoring compliance with employee handbook, policies, and practices.
- Addressing employee issues and policy violations promptly.
- Reviewing work schedules to ensure proper staffing.
- Monitoring cost control procedures and taking corrective actions as needed.
- Auditing employment and payroll records.
- Responding to guest requests and complaints respectfully.
- Recruting, interviewing, and hiring management team members.
- Approving employee and management compensation levels.
- Preparing operational reports and developing action plans for financial trends.
- Developing and implementing regional marketing plans.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies preferred.
- Minimum three years of restaurant management experience, with multi-unit supervision required.
- Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of recruiting, labor laws, and sanitation regulations.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer and accounting skills.
- Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively.
