Seeking a part-time Director of Human Resources, the successful candidate will manage HR policies, ensure multi-state compliance, and address employee relations for a growing remote team, dedicating 5-10 hours per week to this hands-on role. Key responsibilities Review, update, and maintain the employee handbook and HR policies for compliance across multiple states Monitor and advise on employment law requirements and recommend necessary policy changes Serve as a point of contact for employee complaints and conflicts, providing guidance and support to leadership Required qualifications 5+ years of progressive HR experience with multi-state employment compliance Experience with ADP, particularly ADP PEO (TotalSource or similar), is strongly preferred Solid knowledge of federal employment law and familiarity with state law variances Experience handling employee relations matters with sound judgment and discretion SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred but not required
