Multi-Spindle Machine OperatorOur client is a long-established, stable precision manufacturer in the Menomonee Falls area experiencing significant growth. They are adding people across their machining operations and creating opportunities for experienced machinists across multiple skill levels and schedules.This opportunity is geared toward someone with hands-on experience setting up, adjusting and operating multi-spindle lathes / automatic screw machines used to produce precision components from metal bar stock. If you understand how these machines work and can diagnose what is happening when they don't, your experience could be particularly valuable.The work may include:Set up and operate multi-spindle automatic machining equipmentRead blueprints and work to dimensions, tolerances and tooling specificationsInstall and adjust collets, bushings, stock pushers, cams, gears, stops and cutting toolsEstablish and adjust speeds, feeds, tooling positions and machine timingInspect first pieces and production parts using micrometers, calipers, height stands, comparators and other inspection equipmentTroubleshoot machine, tooling, programming and material issuesChange and maintain tooling and perform preventive maintenanceProduce quality precision metal components in a busy production environmentExperience with multi-spindle lathes, automatic screw machines, Acme-Gridley, New Britain, Euro-Turn/ZMC or similar bar-stock machining equipment may be particularly relevant.Our client offers multiple schedules, overtime opportunities for those who want additional hours, continued skill development and room to take on greater technical responsibility as the company grows.If you've built your career around screw machines, multi-spindles, CNC or related machining equipment, we'd like to understand what you know and what type of opportunity works for you.
