Job Description
4-day work week, M-F with a minimum of 32 hours of patient contact time - includes clinic, treatments, and rounding as needed. One day a week travel to Baker City for clinic coverage.
Call:
1:9 shared equitably on evenings and weekends. Inpatient unit covered by oncology hospitalist Monday through Friday 8-5.

Requirements:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
• Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Internal Medicine residency program & Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship
• Board certified or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
• Obtain Oregon and Idaho medical licensure and granting of privileges at SAMC-Ontario, SAMC-Baker City and other health system affiliated hospitals as needed
• Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
• Will consider visa candidates

Unit Description
Support: Full-service cancer center with medical oncology supported by a large group of community primary care physicians and surgeons. Integrative team approach with nurse navigation, social work support, genetic counseling, clinical trials and nutrition services.
Weekly regional tumor boards provide opportunity to collaborate with our fellowship trained surgeons in breast, plastic/reconstruction, GYN oncology, surgical oncology, colorectal, neurosurgery, thoracic and esophageal. Innovative programs include lung cancer screening, lung nodule clinic, and robust clinical trials through the Montana Cancer Consortium.
