We are currently sourcing for a Multi Platform Database Administrator to work in one of our corporate locations (New England, Durham NC, Westlake TX).The Database Administration team supports the Fidelity Brokerage database platform on Db2 z/OS along with replication of data across Db2 and Oracle databases. The team also supports Cloud based data technologies such as Aurora PostgreSQL, DynamoDB and Aerospike.
The team engages in activities starting with the physical design of the database infrastructure leading up to and beyond deployment such as replication, performance review, tuning as well as security.The Expertise You Have:Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of relevant experienceThe Skills You Bring:Extensive experience in DB2 z/OS Database Administration in a large sophisticated Database EnvironmentDatabase DesignExtensive Experience in SQL, REXX, JCL, COBOLExperience in Qrep and IIDR replication productsWorking knowledge of CA Database ToolsExpertise in distributed technologies including in cloud such as Aurora PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.Expertise in CI/CD utilities such as TerraForm and Jenkins Core technologiesExpertise in AWS concepts and services like IAM, SSO, KMS/CMK,PG, PHZ,VPC, Route53, RDS, RDS-Proxy, Lambda, S3, EBS, CloudWatch, DMS, etc.
