Responsible for operating multiple imaging modalities, including x-ray, CT, ultrasound, MRI, nuclear medicine, and mammography, to support departmental objectives and ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform various imaging procedures across at least three modalities regularly.
- Safely transport, position, and prepare patients for imaging exams.
- Prepare contrast agents and ensure equipment safety and readiness.
- Assist in achieving operational goals and maintaining a positive environment within the medical imaging department.
- Perform mobile imaging and safety checks of equipment and emergency devices.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree in radiologic technology required; Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
- Minimum of three years' technical experience preferred.
- Valid radiologic technologist license, ARRT certification, and current certification in at least one advanced modality (e.g., CT, MRI, Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Sonography).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Ability to perform multiple modalities and ensure patient safety.
Additional Requirements
- Committed to safety protocols, including vaccinations.
- Ability to handle patient transfers and mobile imaging procedures.
- Flexibility to perform other duties as assigned.
