Performs a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment.Job Duties:Transfers and properly positions patients for examinations in order to obtain desired radiographic results according to physicians’ specifications.Reviews patient chart and results of previous diagnostic studies and records patient’s personal and medical information.Selects appropriate equipment and proper technical factors on an individual patient basis according to specific orders and part of body to be examined.Uses film markers correctly and consistently and adheres to prescribed standard for Radiation Safety.Requirements:Must have completed a Radiography Program and Sonography Program.ARRT (R) Registered or eligible (must obtain ARRT registry within the Kentucky state licensing mandates).Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy is required.Must be ARDMS registered in Diagnostic Ultrasound and Vascular or registry eligible.
