MuleSoft Integration Architect

We are seeking an experienced MuleSoft Integration Architect to support client operations and business solutions through the analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise information systems and applications.
The successful candidate will contribute across the full solution lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture and design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and operational support. Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain integrations and applications using the MuleSoft platform.
Develop integration architectures and API strategies based on business, technical, security, and connectivity requirements.
Support the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Develop program specifications, technical designs, architecture documentation, and other project deliverables.
Code, test, troubleshoot, and debug integration applications and services.
Establish and promote development standards and best practices for CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, documentation, testing, and solution architecture.
Conduct architecture and design walkthroughs, code reviews, and technical discussions with clients and cross-functional teams.
Monitor the performance and operational impact of new products, services, and integration solutions.
Support testing, training, deployment, and operational readiness activities.
Collaborate with project managers, developers, business analysts, infrastructure teams, and other stakeholders to deliver effective solutions.
MuleSoft Architect Certification required.
SAP integration experience required.
Minimum 7 years of hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft platform.
Demonstrated expertise in MuleSoft platform administration, integration architecture, and API design and development.
Experience providing technical leadership to development teams and establishing development and architecture standards.
Experience with CI/CD automation, observability, error handling, technical documentation, and solution architecture.
Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8–10 years of relevant professional experience , or a master's degree in a related field and 6–8 years of relevant professional experience .
Experience with SAP Concur integrations .
Experience with cloud-based integration architectures and enterprise API management.
Candidates who reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the Herndon, VA office are preferred. Candidates working from the Herndon office are expected to work onsite four days per week .
