Process Engineer (MTS)Reporting to the VP FAB Operations & Quality and based in our Chandler, Arizona location. Working with our Fab operations team, s/he will work on Process Engineering for innovative memory products.Specific responsibilities will include:Module process ownership: ownership of day-to-day operations, process/equipment monitoring and troubleshooting, sustaining tools to meet tool availability criteria.Develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education, statistical knowledge, and problem solving tools.Drive improvements in quality, reliability, cost, yield, process stability/capability, productivity, and safety.Technology transfer and matching to Foundry partners.Qualifications & Competencies:B.S. Degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science.Fundamental understanding of semiconductor manufacturing process flow and device physics.Working experience with Statistical process control SPC) and equipment Fault detection classification (FDC), Design of Experiments (DOE) principles and software (JMP).Exhibit good and open communication skills; be able to work within cross-functional teams.Exhibit willingness to learn multiple process disciplines such as PVD, CVD, CMP, Etch, Lithography, Metrology.Working experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes such Cu CMP & Oxide CMP is desired.Physical Demands and Work Environment:Occasionally required to standOccasionally required to walkContinually required to sitContinually required to utilize hand and finger dexterityContinually required to talk or hearContinually utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboardOccasionally required to lift/push/carry items less than 25 pounds.
