MST-EA Therapist
Youth Outreach Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate MST-EA Therapist to provide intensive, family-centered services to youth and families in the community. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact by helping young people overcome challenges, strengthen family relationships, and achieve positive long-term outcomes through the evidence-based Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, including MST-related screening tools and evaluations.
- Build strong partnerships with caregivers, family members, and community support systems to promote lasting change.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using the MST Analytic Process.
- Provide direct clinical services in homes, schools, and other community settings.
- Collaborate with schools, probation officers, referral sources, law enforcement, and community agencies to support client success.
- Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Participate in ongoing supervision, MST consultation, and professional development opportunities.
- Contribute to program development, quality improvement initiatives, and agency-wide efforts to enhance services.
- Ensure all services are delivered in a culturally responsive manner while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality standards.
What We're Looking For:
- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field required. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and significant clinical experience may also be considered.
- Experience or internship working with at-risk youth and families preferred.
- Background in juvenile justice, child welfare, residential treatment, psychiatric services, or community-based programs is a plus.
- Strong clinical, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable daily access to a personal vehicle required.
- Bilingual Spanish skills are highly preferred.
- Commitment to working effectively with diverse communities and families.
