Responsibilities
- Provide scanning coverage for Manager Operations and various locations throughout the region.
- Produce high‑quality diagnostic images at dedicated customer sites as needed.
- Ensure patient safety, including pre‑screening for contraindications and aseptic injection techniques.
- Partner with local ADDs, physician groups, Radiology/Clinic Directors, and radiologists to communicate MRI software, customer portal, scanning protocols, and quality issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot scanner, coaching, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
- Assist Sales team with start‑ups and new business opportunities.
- Perform clinical competencies and team‑member evaluations when internal milestones are met.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as an MRI technologist in high‑pressure, high‑visibility environments with regular patient satisfaction surveys.
- Effective communication at all organizational levels and ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
- Prepared to work at multiple locations across the region.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and multi‑tasking skills.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications and programs.
- ARRT(R) or ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT as allowable by contract in lieu of ARRT.
- State license as required.
- CPR certification.
- Valid state driver’s license as applicable.
- Local travel may be required up to 90% of the time.
Physical Requirements
- The employee may be exposed to radioactive isotopes, ionizing radiation, a strong magnetic field, blood/body fluids, and infectious disease.
- More than 50% of the time: sit, stand, walk, perform repetitive hand/arm/leg movements, see, speak and hear to communicate with patients.
- Less than 50% of the time: stoop, kneel or crawl, climb, balance, carry and lift; ability to move non‑ambulatory patients from a sitting or lying position for transfer or exam.
