MRI TechnologistWashington, DC Pay From: $70 per hourMUST:Experienced MRI TechnologistMust have 1 plus years of experience as an MRI TechnologistMust hold an ARRT or a ARMRIT certificationMust have a current CPRMust have experience working on Siemens EquipmentMust have hospital experience as an MRI technicianDUTIES:MRI Technologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:Answering questions about the procedurePositioning patients according to established protocolsAdjusting equipment as needed to produce high-quality imagesEvaluating images to make sure they meet the ordering provider's requirementsEntering data into electronic medical recordsOperating MRI scanners and ensuring images are high-quality and useful for diagnosisCollaborating with radiologists and healthcare teams to ensure the production of high-quality imaging resultsPreparing and educating patients, reviewing medical histories, and ensuring the proper documentation of patient information related to the imaging procedureAssessing and positioning patients for procedures while attending to their needs during imagingApplying knowledge of MRI safety practices, including patient safety, equipment safety, and magnetic field safety protocolsEnsuring that appropriate contrast agents, if required, are administered and documenting activities related to their use, in line with state and institutional policiesQuadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
