What You’ll Do

• Perform high-quality MRI procedures following established protocols
• Ensure strict compliance with MRI safety guidelines
• Start IV lines and administer contrast using proper technique
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients about procedures
• Collect patient medical history and complete accurate documentation
• Enter, verify, and maintain data in RIS and PACS systems
• Confirm exam orders prior to imaging
• Monitor patient comfort, safety, and medical needs throughout visits
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked MRI department
• Support fellow technologists and contribute to a positive team environment

What We’re Looking For

High School Diploma

Graduate of an ARRT-approved Radiologic Technology program

ARRT MRI Certification (or ability to obtain within one year of hire)

New York State Radiologic Technology License with Injection

CPR Certification

Two or more years of MRI experience preferred, but not required

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
