MRI Technologist

Role:

Operates MRI scanner to produce diagnostic images for medical evaluation.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares and positions patients
• selects technical parameters
• performs pre-screening and education
• enters data
• administers contrast media
• ensures high-quality image submission
• maintains equipment
• keeps the department organized.

Qualifications:

• Completion of MRI or Radiology Technology program
• no prior experience required.

Skills & Requirements:

• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and moving patients
• keen vision and hearing
• ability to operate imaging equipment
• knowledge of safety protocols
• and adherence to federal and state regulations

Certifications:

• BLS Healthcare Provider
• ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification.

This PRN role involves operating imaging equipment, ensuring image quality, patient care, and equipment maintenance in a healthcare setting.
