MRI Technologist,

Job Summary:
This role involves performing Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) procedures on patients, requiring proficiency in various body regions and specialized techniques. The MRI Technologist will work evenings, including weekends and holidays as needed, and will be on-call. A minimum of two years of experience is required, although first-time applicants are considered. The position is located in an acute care, Level I trauma center, Magnet hospital.

Responsibilities:
- Performing MRI scans of various body parts including abdomen, pelvis, cardiovascular system, chest, head and neck, musculoskeletal system, and spine.
- Utilizing specialized MRI techniques such as CINE, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, and others.
- Utilizing Cerner electronic health record system.
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment.
- Working weekends and holidays as needed.
- On-call responsibilities as required.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum two years of MRI experience.
- ARRT-MR certification preferred.
- Proficiency in various MRI techniques (listed in the input).
- Experience with Cerner EHR system.
- Active license to practice in the state.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Level I Trauma experience.
Special Considerations:
- Evening shift ), 4 days a week.
- Weekend and holiday work required.
- On-call responsibilities required.
- Must be in the state 3 business days before compliance to meet fingerprinting requirements.
- Guaranteed hours with stipulations regarding call-offs.
- Maximum 5-day RTO restriction.
Scheduling:
- Four 10-hour evening shifts per week ).
- Weekend and holiday rotation.
- On-call shifts as needed.
- Schedule requests can be discussed with the manager.
