We are seeking a reliable and experienced PRN MRI Technologist to join our healthcare team on an as‑needed basis. This position is ideal for a motivated imaging professional looking for flexible scheduling while providing high‑quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare and position patients for MRI examinations
- Ensure patient safety by screening for contraindications and monitoring during scans
- Operate MRI equipment while maintaining excellent image quality
- Accurately document patient information and completed exams in EMR/PACS systems
- Communicate professionally with patients and staff
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of MRI suite and equipment
- Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and facility safety standards
Qualifications
- ARRT (MR) certification preferred or eligible
- Current state licensure if required
- Previous MRI Experience strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Dependable, flexible, and able to cover shifts as needed
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
