Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Type: Fulltime, Nonexempt
Schedule: Variable, 8 hr shifts
Responsibilities
An MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures in accordance with established policies, procedures, and applicable standards of practice to produce high‑quality diagnostic images. The role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate documentation while supporting efficient department operations in an acute care hospital setting.
Qualifications
- Two‑year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree
- Current Radiation Operator Certificate in state of practice
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in Radiology and Computed Tomography
- ARRT with additional certification in Mammography
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- On‑Call Requirement: Must accept on‑call assignments for scheduled shifts and be available to report to the facility within 30 minutes of notification
