Role Overview
We are seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily MRI, in a healthcare setting. The role involves patient preparation, safety screenings, executing MRI exams independently or in on-call situations, and assisting with department workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Perform studies accurately, ensuring quality and safety standards
- Help manage departmental workflow and assist with patient care
- Conduct MRI exams using advanced modality techniques
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate degree or higher in a related field
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or MR
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
- Experience in radiology, MRI, CT, or general radiologic technology is preferred but not required
- Licenses: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
