Job Summary And Qualifications

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed MRI Technologist to perform procedures in a compassionate and respectful manner. If you are dedicated to caring for others, this could be your next career opportunity. It is a PRN as‑needed role. Day‑shift, night‑shift, and weekend availability are necessary for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a strong and thorough knowledge of all MRI and associated equipment and obtain high‑quality MR images, ensuring only optimal films are submitted for interpretation.
  • Facilitate the MRI procedure by selecting proper technical factors and techniques to accommodate all patients and by preparing and administering the appropriate contrast material.
  • Prepare, transfer, and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices indicated.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with the patient and other caregiver colleagues, including the radiologist.
  • Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases and keep the room stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Accept on‑call and call‑back responsibilities as needed to provide optimum patient care.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a 2‑year, AMA‑approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid ARRT (MR).
  • Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1–3 years of prior/current MRI Technologist experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
