MRI Technologist - PRN
Aiken Regional Medical Centers, located in Aiken, South Carolina, is a 273-bed acute care facility providing quality healthcare to the residents of Aiken and surrounding communities. MRI Technologist operates and maintains a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner to obtain images from patients which are used by physicians to diagnose the nature and extent of designated pathologies. Participates in the establishment of scan protocol, as appropriate. Duties include verifying written request for MRI procedures, instructing patients regarding MRI procedures, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, performing contrast injections, maintaining MRI Lab supplies, and ensuring adherence to established departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications include successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training, two (2) years experience in diagnostic radiology in a health care facility, one (1) year experience as an MRI Technologist preferred, ARRT registered, BLS (or obtained within 90 days of employment), and current South Carolina license issued by SC Radiation Quality Standards Association.
