MRI Technologist
The MRI Technologist performs MRI studies according to protocols established by Radiologists, ensuring consistent, high-quality imaging. Responsibilities include operating MRI equipment, preparing the scan room, positioning patients and coils, and maintaining effective communication with patients throughout the procedure.
This position includes every other weekend coverage: Saturday & Sunday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Perform MRI studies following established radiologist protocols
Operate MRI scanners to produce optimal, high-quality images
Prepare exam room and equipment appropriately
Position patients, coils, and equipment safely and accurately
Maintain patient communication and comfort throughout scanning
ARRT MR Certification — Required within 2 years of hire
High School Diploma or Equivalent — Required
Graduate of an AMA-Approved Radiologic Technology Program or MRI Certificate Program — Required
1 Year Experience as a Radiology Technologist — Required
1 Year Experience in CT or MRI — Preferred
RT(R) — Registered Technologist (Radiography) — Required
RT(MR) — Registered Technologist (Magnetic Resonance) — Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) — Required
