Role: MRI Technologist responsible for performing high-quality MRI examinations, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care.
Key Duties
- Operate advanced MRI equipment following established protocols
- Perform safety screenings, verify patient details, and assess implant compatibility
- Prepare, educate, and monitor patients throughout procedures
- Administer contrast agents and monitor for adverse reactions
- Optimize scan quality, review images, and ensure proper documentation
- Follow safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Support workflow, quality improvement, and equipment maintenance
- Assist with patient scheduling and staff training
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum one year of MRI experience
- ARRT certification in MRI and Montana Radiologic Technologist license
- Current BLS certification
- Knowledge of MRI principles, safety, contrast administration, and implant screening
- Proficiency with EMR, PACS, and computer systems
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and multitasking skills
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and organized
