Description

$20,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires who meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

This posting is for multiple full time openings at St Peter’s Hospital Olympia, WA.

This position is responsible for MRI technologist duties at PSPH. Responsibilities include performing MRI procedures (setting up, scanning and filming). The position also is responsible for communication with radiologists and other physicians, patients and their families, and other persons. Additional responsibilities include performing contrast injections, performing quality control and reporting tasks, maintaining day-to-day schedules, and assisting radiologist. Operates and maintains MR, and auxiliary equipment. On call requirements.

Responsibilities

Perform MRI procedures, including setting up and scanning patients.

Communicate with radiologists, physicians, patients and families.

Administer contrast injections.

Conduct quality control and reporting tasks.

Maintain day-to-day schedules and assist radiologists.

Operate and maintain MR equipment and auxiliary equipment.

Provide on‑call coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

  • 2 years community college or vocational training in an accredited radiologic technologist program, or equivalent education/experience
  • Washington Radiologic Technologist license upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist – Radiography – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
  • National Registered Technologist – Magnetic Resonance Imaging within 1 year of hire
  • National Certified MRI Technologist – American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists within 1 year of hire

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years sub‑specialty MRI, scanning, or imaging experience.
