- Full-Time: Thursday - Saturday (3 - 12 hour shifts)
- Nights: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Overview
The MRI Technologist operates imaging equipment and software to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role requires ensuring patient safety, maintaining high‑quality imaging standards, serving as lead when leadership is unavailable, and assisting new caregiver orientation and training. The position requires a strong commitment to patient care, technical expertise, and collaborative communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Operate MRI imaging equipment and associated software.
- Ensure patient safety and maintain image quality.
- Serve as lead when leadership is unavailable.
- Assist in new caregiver orientation and training.
- Collaborate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion required clinical hours.
- Experience: One (1) year of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor degree program.
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
- Certification: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT; BLS Basic Life Support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preferred certifications: MRSO (Magnetic Resonance Safety Officer) or MRSE (Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert) certification.

- Thorough understanding of protocols and ability to make adjustments as needed.

Physical Requirements
- Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
- Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
