Role: MRI Technologist in Radiology department, performing magnetic resonance imaging in accordance with standards and organizational policies.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient history, schedule appointments, and educate patients about procedures to ensure cooperation.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media or medications within scope, monitor patient condition, and respond to changes.
  • Set up equipment, choose appropriate imaging parameters, ensure safety, and perform quality control on MRI devices.
  • Position patients, conduct imaging procedures, analyze results, address image quality issues, and report scan findings.
  • Operate independently with critical thinking, working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  • Registered or registry eligible in MRI (ARRT or ARMRIT), with certification completed within 12 months.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.

Key Duties: Performing MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining equipment, analyzing imaging results, and adhering to safety and quality standards.
