Unit Specifics:
Number of Beds : none-outpatient only, seldom ER add on
Patient Ratios : 1 patient every 45 minutes
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : 1 clerical 1 MRI tech
Type of equipment : Signa Explorer 1.5T
Documentation system: Meditech, Client PACS, Intelerad
Scheduling special requirements: n/a
Floating policy: not required
Patient Experience requirements: Press Ganey manages patient experience surveys
Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: ARRT MRI registry
Hiring profile
Years of Experience Required: 3 years
Requested Skill Set: routine MRI, MRA exams, Body imaging, MSK Imaging, Neuro Imaging, contrast injections
Must have: IV training
Advanced skills needed: CPR
Procedures performed on unit: 8 a day
Certifications Required: BLS , ARRT MRI, CPR
