Opportunity:
MRI Technologist - MRI
Job Details:
• 3-5 years of MRI experience required
• First-time travelers are welcome
• Weekly census of 250-300 patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Work with outpatient, inpatient, and ED patients including those with implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole body cases; cardiac experience preferred
• No floating required - MRI department only
• 3 days of orientation provided
• Weekend rotation maximum every 3rd weekend
• On-call Saturday and Sunday nights from 9:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Back-up on-call Saturday and Sunday from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM with a 30-minute response time required
• Weekly rotating responsibility for first-shift backup on-call and weekend on-call; weekend on-call occurs approximately once every 8 weeks and includes on-site Saturday hours with a compensatory weekday off scheduled
• Holiday schedule based on unit needs
• Support available from Lead Tech/Coordinator and Imaging Assistants; traveler will never be alone
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT-MR or ARMRIT
• Required equipment experience: GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, Siemens Magnetom Skyra, McKesson PACS
• Required charting system: EPIC
• GE and Siemens scanner experience required; facility operates 5 of 6 scanners
• Scrub color: Any color as long as they are professional

This facility is a large 933-bed hospital designated as a Level II Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center, with a Level III NICU and Magnet Designation. The MRI department operates five active scanners and sees a high volume of diverse patient types, supported by a collaborative team environment including Lead Technologists and Imaging Assistants to ensure no traveler works alone.
