MRI Technologist

Our client is seeking an MRI Technologist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a professional and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:

• Explain breast MRI procedures to patients, complete MRI safety screenings, and ensure all required consent forms are signed prior to scanning.
• Properly position patients, operate MRI equipment, and obtain clear, high-quality diagnostic images to assist physicians with accurate diagnoses.
• Start IVs for MRI procedures and draw blood for genetic testing.
• Monitor patients throughout examinations, maintain accurate patient records, and monitor MRI equipment functionality.
• Assist radiologists with MRI-guided breast biopsies, MRI localizations, and the DynaCAD system.
• Utilize Centricity EMR to enter reports and complete patient chart documentation.
• Perform daily and weekly Quality Assurance (QA) procedures while maintaining MRI safety standards and an organized imaging environment.

Requirements:

• RT/MRI certified.
• Current state license and ARRT registry.
• IV certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
• Previous Breast MRI experience is a plus.
• Mammography experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Centricity EMR and DynaCAD is preferred.
