Role:
MRI Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic MRI exams, ensuring high-quality imaging, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities:
Maintain ARRT or equivalent certification, prepare patients, perform and review MRI scans, adhere to safety guidelines, document procedures accurately, and assist in training staff and students.
Skills:
Knowledge of anatomy, image evaluation, equipment operation, contrast protocols, emergency response, effective communication, teamwork, and MRI safety.
Qualifications:
ARRT(MR), ARMRIT, or cross-trained R with MRI competency; BLS certification; IV competency within 30 days.
Preferred:
1-2 years MRI experience; bachelor’s degree.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to see, read, communicate effectively, manipulate equipment, lift and transfer patients, and stand for extended periods.
