Description
- Knowledge of skills to perform diagnostic scans as directed by Radiologists.
- Developed knowledge to use correct scan protocols to optimize image quality while decreasing scan length and repeat procedures; demonstrates knowledge of patient positioning and coil selection.
- Developed knowledge to properly screen patients, families, and staff with attention to pregnancy and MRI contraindications.
- Developed knowledge about and adheres to all safety recommendations regarding MRI.
- Ensures that work area is properly maintained.
- Has developed the ability to troubleshoot and report malfunctioning equipment.
- Complies with all TJC, state, federal, and local regulatory laws, standards, and protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
