Responsibilities
- Assist physicians in diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing patients and safely operating MR equipment.
- Obtain diagnostic scans in the acute setting for inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and operating room procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: 2‑Year/Associate Degree preferred; graduation from ARRT‑approved Radiology Program or MR Program required.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in MR preferred.
- Certification: ARRT(R)(MR) or ARRT(MR) certification within 6 months of hiring; NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT; applicable state license required.
- Skills: Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment; analytical ability and basic computer skills; ability to interpret patient information and identify care requirements; strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
- Completion of Life Support Training (refer to Life Support Training Policy NH‑HR‑3096).
