Responsibilities
* Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
* Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
* Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
* Understand and use TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment to produce high quality images.
* Guide patients through the exam process, answering questions and addressing concerns.
* Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
* Safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information; safeguard on-site medications per company policies and legal requirements.
* Demonstrate professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
* Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships with colleagues and patients.
You Are
* Genuinely passionate about patient care with sound judgment and professionalism in all situations.
* Able to communicate effectively with patients, guests, and colleagues.
* Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work, and solve problems with a structured approach.
To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have
* ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
* State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
* Must have BLS certification.
* At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
