Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated MRI Technologist to join our dynamic healthcare team in North Alabama. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images of designated portions of the human body for diagnostic purposes. This role requires a strong understanding of MRI technology, patient care, and safety protocols, along with the ability to work collaboratively with other medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI examinations on patients, following protocols to ensure high-quality imaging.
- Monitor patient safety and comfort during MRI procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
- Calibrate and maintain MRI equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and evaluate imaging results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor.
- Graduate accredited radiology program.
- Require ARRT Licensure within 1 year of hire.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
